Wednesday, July 15, 2009 Y 9:04 PM Aww my maid has left us for good. It is only now that i truly appreciate her. Seriously. She finally decided to go back to her family after giving us 4 years of her service. I miss her. Hmm i don't know whether i miss having the choice to ask her to help me do stuff or i actually miss her. I think i really actually miss her.
Anyhoo i went to Orchard with my mom yesterday to do some shopping. We bought a wallet for my maid from Tangs. We had a farewell dinner for my maid yesterday evening. My sis bought an Oreo Cheesecake which was yummy! :) This morn when i was sending her off, I felt sad having to say goodbye to her, forever. Firstly cuz I'm not good with goodbyes. Secondly, my tear glands have a mind of their own so i always look like a crybaby la. She asked my mom to send an invitation if Natasha gets married. LOL! I think Natasha will even send her an airline ticket, that is if she ever gets married. (she has marriage phobia) I'm happy for my maid that she would be reunited with her children. My mom gave them some brand new toys and my dad gave them $50 (the kids). My mom also gave her a bunch of stuff, including a rice cooker, which resulted in her luggage weighing 45kg in total. We paid for the excess baggage tax and had a short but sweet goodbye. My mother ,who i think is the closest with her, was brave and did not shed much tears, surprisingly. So anyhoo cant wait for Oweek!!! Hopefully i get to be in the same grp as at least someone i know *crosses fingers* Labels: Family, Results/Uni |
