Another busy weekend. I spent Friday between my guides and the germany trip gang. It was speech day at YT so the school was ridiculously "made up". The usual blue and yellow benches were replaced with metallic square tables covered with a red table cloth and on top of each table there was a decorative bowl and rose petals! UGH! how fake! So anyhoo i tried to lighten the mood for the performing guides cuz some of them were nervous. Y'all will do great!I waited for Nikita to come before leaving cuz i hadn't seen her in ages! She looked great and was still Niki. So once she arrived and was as usual mingling around, i had to hurry and leave because i had to meet Jon at the MRT before heading up to prata house for the gathering. We were super late. but i think the thought counts so it was ok. I was rather disappointed to see that only Nic, Lydia, Nasri and Cass were there. But hey they're cool and so all's good! We ate and chatted before heading to Icekimo to eat ice-cream! i have never seen that place before so it was a cool new place that i discovered. I had a waffle with a scoop of blueberry cheesecake ice cream! yum! (but i think that B & Js's one cheesecake and strawberry cheesecake is da best!) Headed home at around 9.45. On our way home, my mom called and told me that i had to get Haagen Daz ice cream for my dad's bday.

So at 12 midnight me and mom surprised my dad with the ice cream for his birthday. I just love surprises! (: So anyhoo Sat was spent with my family celebrating my dad's bday. I cant wait for his bday next year! He'll be getting his pension pay out so whoo hoo! that's a separate amount from his CPF payout. hehehe (; anyhoo, I think he liked one of his present, the running shoes, that he wore it the whole day! hmm i can't wait for my birthday. I'll prolly be adjusting to uni life. Ooh a few of my friends already got accepted into the courses of their choice so congrats you guys (:

Went SHOPPING today with my mom and sis. My big sis joined us after her classes at around 2. Saw this gorgeous pair of stilettos in Isetan. However the had this kinky chain thing that i didn't exactly adore. But man oh man those heels were HOT!!! Eventually I got a pair from Charles and Keith Wisma. My mom and sis kept discouraging me from getting those killer heels cuz i have been wearing flats for quite some time as y'all prolly know (: So i decided to start slow & get a shorter heel before working my way up to wearing 10 inch heels in the future!MUAHAHAHAHA! My mom on the other hand spent about $350 on just moisturiser and a foundation powder thingy from Lancome! the moisturiser was $250 for a 50 ml cream!!! The salesgirl was nice and patient but in a way made me horrified! She kept going on about how our skin quality erodes over time. Because my mom spent so much, she gave us a small tester bottle of their perfume Miracle each. It smells so lovely! I miss shopping.

Swimming is exhausting! Went swimming yst with my younger siblings. they kept asking and i couldn't say no ): So anyhoo we "swam"/played around in the pool for about 2-3 hours. Going to Chinatown soon to get beads with the guides jnrs for their fundraising project. (:

Just went to YT sec one camp "campfire" with JE. She met me at my void deck but i had to go up again because i forgot to grab my wallet. then she wanted to borrow shorts cuz i was wearing a tee and shorts and she was in her "work clothes" ie: a skirt. So she came up and changed into one of my shorts. On our way to school we stopped by at Esso to grab a sandwich from the delifrance counter. Finally we reached school! Was kinda disappointed that they didn't start a kick ass campfire instead they used a cool lighting device as the "campfire". but JE was there so i had tons of fun! The atmosphere on the other hand, was so not campfire-ish lah! Usually all of us will be screaming and super hyper but the sec 1s were so quiet and so was the CC. Plus i found about the drama the campstaff were pulling off. To my dear sec 3s: Pls pls pls realise that guides is more than ranks! Babe: we will forever and always be the dynamic duo (: Love ya!

Didn't blog yst cuz i felt so bloody depressed after watching the match. I shall not say more cuz damn what a shity game United played yst! I kinda dont blame them for losing. They must have been exhausted after the past few games. But how sad, to lose to that awful team. I wouldn't have minded losing to other lousy teams but this one hurt so bad.

Well anyhoo, The engagement party was fine. But the trip to our family's friend place was awful! My dad didnt come along so it was me, ibu, my sis and my lil bro. We took a cab there and the place was at woodlands/marsling and the cab driver was a total arse! He overshot and went up to Upper Thompson! Then he blamed US for talking loudly! I mean you can tell us to speak softer or smtg, you dont overshoot to upper thompson and blame it on the passenger. He even had the cheek to tell us we should leave his cab when we were in the middle of the highway!! I mean what a rude SOB!!! he is so gonna get a shelling from his boss when my sis complains cuz she's no pushover.

Anyways i needed to rant and now that i've done so, I'm gonna go to NUS open house to find out more (: Update later!

Went for guides as usual today and i'm so tired now. They did outdoor cooking and i helped one of my juniors (Rashidah's patrol) to start a fire. I must say that they're version of outdoor cooking is way different from my days in guides. We had it way tougher. But still i was so excited to see that i could still make a kick ass fire! We cooked breadsticks-cheese and Nutella topping, Chicken, Cheese potatoes, Chocolate Bananas and roasted marshmallows. The marshmallows turned out icky because when you roast marshmallows, you're suppose to eat it immediately but they didn't so, umm it turned out quite disgusting. Hmm i'm too lazy/tired bored to blog more so here are some pics (:

Today was an absolutely fun fun fun day! Its my mom's b'day and we wanted to do a surprise celebration. So we didnt get her anything and said that my sis wasn't coming back from her dorm cuz she was busy. My brother has a sorta camp thing in school so he wasn't home. So she kept going on and on about how we always pick friends over family and blah blah blah. So i spent the whole day with her watching movies and baking more cupcakes :) Plus the whole day she kept going on about how she wanted to eat Swenson's Ice cream cake or a cheese cake. My mom's funny in a way that she doesn't like to eat whatever she cooks and prefers to eat other ppl's cooking or eat out. So my dad gave money to buy dinner and the cake. But my sis wanted to come home to surprise her and she wanted to retain her position as my mom's favourite daughter so she insisted that she would buy the cake and flowers. Plus we wanted to get her a nice present for her birthday, so we decided to get her a Bonia wallet.


So throughout the day i had to pretend that my sis wasn't coming home and deal with my mom's moaning and nagging. I also had to delay buying dinner because my sister wanted to eat hot food when she returned home at 8. So i left home at ard 6.30 to get dinner and pressie and to meet up with my sis. My maid came along cuz i wasn't gonna carry food for 8 ppl alone! after getting the food, i went to Bonia to get the wallet. but wearing a tee and shorts, the sales ppl were not hurrying to serve me. but thet were nice enough though. not snobbish. Once they realised that we were gonna buy and not look only, they became much nicer. hahaha. I saw this super nice wallet on sale at $50 bucks only lah! i want! But in the end we got my mom a black leather long wallet so she can keep her many cards. hahaha.


Since my sister insisted on surprising her i went home with my maid first and boy did i get a shelling for not getting the cake. She was like "i said get the cake first right! I wanted a cake and there's no cake! This food is not for me lah! Its for y'all! Y'all get to enjoy this not me! Blah blah blah!" Aiyoh i wanted so badly to scream and tell her the truth but what fun would that be? So i kept my mouth shut and endured! 10 mins later the hero arrived and i saw my mom smiling again! Miss Hero brought the cake, roses and the secret present. So we had a great celebration but the funnest part was giving her the unexpected pressie. My dad gave my mom cash for her b'day so when she opened the wallet she was like, "There's money!" ahahahahah! What a magical wallet! I would so buy it too lah! She realised that it was my dad's present so she began thanking all of us. She was so happy i felt that it was all worth the trouble. Hahaha. in the end she thanked me and sis for pulling off a wonderful birthday and i felt so proud lah! Ahh what a great day! :D Here are some pics:

I met Hai Guang and Jon yesterday. Oh boy they never fail to make me laugh though sometimes i wish i could pluck my ears out because boys will be boys and ... get the drift?
So I met Jon Jon at 12-ish and we were supopose to meet HG at 12.30 at Far East to eat Ramen 10. BUT someone ended up late, and no its not me, coughhgcough, so me and Jon waited for about an hour for him. ( i realised that recently, I keep having to wait for ppl and not the other way round- like the other day when we went to eat ice cream at Island Creamery on the day we got our results i ended up waiting for Anje for about an hour-hmm maybe Karma is getting back at me) So anyways i ended up eating the lala ramen (like the one you ate the other time drina) and whoa it was spicy. But it was a good spicy. i loved sipping on the soup only cuz i didnt like the ramen. we then shared the mochi green tea ice cream. there were 4 red bean mochi surrounding a scoop of green tea ice cream. After we ate, we started talking more and somehow the topic went to some porno stuff that i have never heard before so i started covering my ears. hahaahahaha. they went on and on and on so i took out my mp3. ahahahahaahahhahahahaa. so when i took off my earphones they were talking about how a zookeeper's head got stuck in an elephant's ass for a few seconds. (EWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

After talking thrash for a while more we headed to Esplanade cuz HG wanted to borrow some Jap movies from the library there. ooh! while walking from clark quay to the Esplanade, cuz we got off the wrong bus stop, we saw a dead rat!(EWWWWWWWWW!!!) and we found out that HG cant stand dead animals. hahahaha, but seriously, i mean who can???? After Esplanade we ended up at Marina Square Starbucks, as usual, and continued chatting for a long time. i think i can talk to them forever and not get bored. HG displayed his singing pro-ness which sent me and jon into hysterics! oh god that was so so so so so so so sososossoosososososososo funny! but we finally decided to leave at ard 7-8 cuz it ws getting like really cold.

We headed to the Esplanande roof but it was blocked because of a trumpet (i think it was a trumpet or another musical instrument starting with T) class. So we ended up walking around the Esplanade looking for a choir performance of some sort. Instead we came across this singing trio. The 3 guys were doing the blues and at times i could actually picture myself in the country and they were singing on the porch and i was rocking in a rocking chair. (hahaha get it) They played for about 30 mins and it was good. to me anyways.

While heading to the MRT we stopped at HMV for a while.Then we bounced back home. I wanted to blog when i reached home at around 10.30 but i was to lazy and wanted to watch Van Helsing. But being the Tv addict that i was, i decided to watch Bones after that. hahaha. But yst was an awesomely fun fun fun day and I'm absolutely gonna miss meeting up with Jon and HG cuz they're going to NS. In fact Jon's going tmr, so all the best in NS my dear friend! Can't wait to see you in 2 weeks without hair.hahhaa. I'm gonna have to find another person to bitch to for the time being i guess (: and i better sign off before i go all sentiment-ish :P

Update: I forgot to say that while gossiping/chatting at Starbusks, I saw amanda, as in my ex-CG mate. Ugh it made me rmb how much i despise her and her innocent act. And you know what that person said! she said, " Oh Nadia! i rmb you!" I'm like, what a stupid thing to say! Oh i rmb you!?? Like duh i rmb you and how lousy a PW leader you are lah!!! UGH! she makes me so angry i want to smack her act cute head off! sorry talking bout her can bring out my violent side

Just watched Stardust on HBO and i must say that it is a really sweet and simply magical movie. At first i was rather hesitant about watching it cuz i didn't want it to spoil the book. i dont think that it did cuz the approach to the movie and the book were very different so i tried to dis-associate the movie from the book. (plus Charlie Cox was oh so cute! how could you hate the movie) But i did feel akward for Robert De Niro who was acting as a transvestite. Dont get me wrong, i love the queer, but he ususally has more macho and mafia-ish roles which was prolly why i believed his character when Captain Shakespeare was pretending to be a ruthless pirate more than his female side. As usual Claire Danes looked gorgeous and Sienna Miller looked pretty as Victoria. (PS: Star World is going to show the movie Factory Girl which she starred in and i'm curious to see how they're going to pull it off cuz they prolly had to censor and cut out chunks of the movie given that it was given an R rating in the States for "for pervasive drug use, strong sexual content, nudity and language" according to IMDb) Anyhoo back to the movie, besides the sometimes lame effects i thought that it was pretty enjoyable.

So now I'm super full and sleepy. Mmmm i love breakfast menus the BEST! BK's croissanwich tops the breakfast chart for me. man now i feel like eating a croissanwich although i am so super full. I'm currently feeling restless. Everyone's done so great and I'm so proud of them but it just makes me so so worried that i may not get a place in uni. and that feeling sucks bad! argh. plus the thing is i've been throwing away all the brochures tt the diff unis sent to my place because i was so sure that i would not be able to make it. now that there's a slight chance, i dont know what to do. help me!

On the lighter note. i played a funny prank today.hahahahaha. sorry Casse. i just needed some fun. Lol. She congratulated me on MSN on my results and i told her that i got BCU SU. She got my actual results from Jon so i told her that he lied and i did get that horrid result. She obviously felt bad and started apologising. hahaha. Then the funny part came: i told her i've been crying and that i was a loser etc etc. so sorry dear. then it became not so funny cuz i felt bad that she was feeling so bad. (and also cuz Jon suggested that i should tell her the truth) so i did. And boy did she make me pay. She waited a long long time to reply me. i felt so awful for that minute or so. hahahaha. but she said that i scared her to death and then agreed tt it was a little funny. Sorry casse. i was just kidding k.

Ok then. gonna watch Flightplan for the 4th time. hahaha. I'll keep y'all updated :)

UPDATE: Chelsea won Coventry- 2 NIL : Damn! That Guus Hiddink is having such a good effect on Chelsea. Hopefully its only a temporary thing and they will stop winning again! grins evily.

*Crosses fingers that Man U wins!* Come'on its Fulham. And even if we don't win, we'll still top the table. So to non Man U supporters: Suck it! hahhhaa. ok that sounded mean after re-reading it but what the heck right? i mean its my blog! hahahahahahhaha. BTW no offence to non Man U supporters. I was watching American Idol moments ago and all i can say is that this show makes me cringe when i hear Singapore Idol top 12 contestants! Lil Rounds's performance blew me away! wow. Anyways as usual i was multi-tasking. So while watching AI, I was chatting with the babes. Anje and Drina taught me how to add a chatbox and how to link ppl. Thanks you guys. Now my blog looks less hopeless.

Hmm ps don't get fooled by my multiple posts today. In the future i may not update for some time. I'm currently not in the workforce. (ie: don't have a job and not actively looking for a job either) haha. Don't judge me ok! I cant focus on anything serious till i know my results. how ironic that i don't want to get my results although i know tt i can't do anything until tt dreadful moment. damn the A's!

Currently watching Boston Legal. Interesting and funny show. Speaking of funny shows, please please please watch Will and Grace ok. I promise that you will not regret it! Its hillarious! Its about this gay guy and his hag. I need to watch it because it makes me laugh and that takes my mind off my impending DOOM. No, I am not exaggerating. But I won't dwell on that mood spoiler. *sighs*

Man my mood is spoiled now. Gonna watch W&G till i feel tired. Nowadays i can't fall asleep. It prolly my subconscious nagging at me. ugh! Hopefully i can fall asleep in half an hour. *crosses fingers*

Ok I've decided tt I will use the title of the song I'm listening to while blogging as the title of my blog entry.

Now that we're no longer schooling, the girls and I have had way fewer table talks. Table talks (sounds like a talk show I could be hosting in the future! like Ellen. hahahaha!) are basically the 6 of us, Faj, Jasvin, Anje, Sak and Drina, chatting during breaks and lunch in school. Its something I made up. I don't know what they call it but yup tts what i call it (: Gawd i miss them loads. (the table talks not the girls cuz i just saw them yesterday) Sak couldn't make it cuz she's working. If you're reading this Sak, you are terribly missed by us especially me! I absolutely love table talks cuz there's not one awkward moment when chat and we can chat about anything. seriously.

So yesterday's tabletalk was at Starbucks Wheelocks. I was late as usual but this time I had a valid reason. Funny I'm always late when meeting friends and during gatherings but I've never been latecomer in school my entire life! I had to visit a friend who was hospitalised after an accident. Shoutout to the person who wished to remained unnamed: hope you have a speedy recovery dear. Anyhoo met them at ard 3 plus. We ordered our drinks, mine was a green tea frap (its my current fav), and started chatting. Anje soon joined us after her lunch. Oh how desperately we tried to avoid the obvious topic without much success. Then Anje received an unexpected phonecall from a teacher and then we soon changed the topic to tt person but eventually we returned to the super depressing topic. Other than the A's (there I've said it) we talked bout how a passer-by had a cute butt (sorry i just had to mention tt cuz it was like really nice! hahahaha!) and other stuff. To one of the 5 of us: I'm sorry if what i did upset you but we had to do that to make you realise. I LOVE LOVE LOVE you and only want the best for you dear. We all do.

By 7, Jas, Faj and Anje needed to leave so Drina and I did some shopping. Well technically Drina shopped and i gave her my opinions. hahaha. Headed back at around 9 and we bounced from Orchard. On the ride home my mind kept lingering on the fact that friday is so so so close and that i didn't want to face the horrid screeching sound (ie my results). Andrina, so subtly, kept changing topic which i appreciated a lot. hahaha.

Ok then. hmm how do I end this? XOXO sounds too gossip girl-ish. hmm this is hard. oh what the hell I'll try a few over the next few entries and decide later on. :)
